A first experience on various rifles of the Beretta we had done it in the summer at the skeet shooting of Bettolino (BS), but in this last part of autumn we had the opportunity to take a whole series of over-and-under and semi-automatic machines by hand, trying them on a hunting morning at the AFV of Arborio (VC). This wildlife hunting company, the largest in Italy, allows you to wander over a magnificent variety of areas with the comfort of flat terrain: you don't always have the desire and disposition of mind to face various slopes and difficulties and here you really enjoy the dogs work and you can easily switch from one rifle to another, thanks to the attention of the House's technicians to maintain uniformity of measurements in the stocks of the weapons made available.
The feminine setting of the classic is intriguing 690 Field I Vittoria over / under in 20/76 caliber and we give here a succinct description. Based on Mod. 690, the widely used over-under of the Beretta, we see the action frame obtained from a solid alloy steel and then worked with the tool according to the recent production schemes thanks to which many operations are obtained on the numerically controlled machines with a considerable containment of costs and a guarantee of constancy of all the parameters in game.
