Coldiretti Rieti outlines the year-end balance sheet in its own press release in which the director Aldo Mattia also announces new initiatives planned for 2012.
Aldo Mattia is satisfied but not at all satisfied the one who draws the 2011 balance sheet of Coldiretti Rieti. The provincial director (who also occupies the most prestigious seat of regional director) marks the year that is about to end with a smile on his lips, but with his attention already turned to 2012 with the desire to continue to do well and, if possible, even more. “I am partially satisfied with the activities carried out during the year. - says Mattia - We have carried on a constant work of trade union activity and services and both from an administrative and organizational point of view the balance is positive ".
In going to rattle off the various aspects of management of the federation, the provincial director starts from the administration. “Compared to the last two years we have done much better. - he affirms - We were able to comply with all the various obligations (VAT, personal income tax, etc., ed.) And we have also recovered 90% of the credit we had to third parties ”.
“Then - he continues - we will certainly close with a higher number of cards than in 2010”. The only note that Mattia makes to himself concerns Impresa Verde. “The merger with Impresa Verde Roma has been effective since 28 December and this despite the fact that the balance sheet has closed in surplus in Rieti. And for this I take personal responsibility ”.
Mattia is also very satisfied with the work done in the offices. “Even if we have lost a few units - he explains - productivity has increased and deadlines have been met. So, I think everyone should be applauded ”. “Even the Patronato - continues Mattia - is closing the initial gap and will close in the black.
The CAP also did well: out of 3800 cases presented, 75% have already been paid ”. The director is also keen to underline another number. "In 2011, 110 new companies turned to Coldiretti: a sign that those who intend to open an agricultural business are turning to our association".
The flagship of the year, however, was undoubtedly the reconfirmation of the Rieti reclamation consortium. “It was the result of the good work done in the last two years”, the satisfied words of Mattia who then recalls the other initiatives that have obtained positive feedback.
“2011 reaffirmed the success of the Campagna Amica Markets - explains the director - Both the summer season at Terminillo and the traditional appointment in the square in Rieti went well”. A positive sign also for the meeting with all the mayors of the province and the disputes over bovine and sheep's milk that “have led to the rise in the prices of the two products”.
Looking at the year just around the corner, Aldo Mattia already has very clear ideas. “We will take the field with a new strategy. - he reveals - In recent years we have used the square a lot to make our reasons heard, because the whole environment had become a bit atrophied and some shaking was needed ”.
“But now that we have marked a 'break', - continues the director of Coldiretti Rieti - we will combine this type of protest with a more intelligent strategy, alongside the one implemented so far, which in any case remains valid.
Starting from the assumption that monopolies cannot exist, we must come to the awareness that the producers are the real owners of the product and, consequently, it is they who must decide the price ”.
"For this - Mattia goes on - as early as January we will start with the Op (producer organizations, ed) of arable crops and sheep milk, in collaboration with the agricultural consortium of Viterbo, and we will launch the special companies of bovine milk".
