The first course will start on Monday 24 June in the province of Cuneo dedicated to the training of farmers who own or hold funds who intend to participate in wild boar containment activities. To organize it is Coldiretti Cuneo. “Our Organization - he declares Roberto Moncalvo, Confederal Delegate of Coldiretti Cuneo - has always been at the forefront to combat the proliferation of wild boars in the Granda, responsible for considerable damage affecting agricultural businesses with tangible consequences for the entire community.
Thanks to our pressing in the Region and in the Province, a Wildlife Control Plan has been launched that allows the owners and conductors of the funds to intervene directly in the action of containment of wild boars, after adequate training ". For this Coldiretti has taken steps to organize a course that provides knowledge theoretical, technical and biological, necessary for the efficient implementation of the operations envisaged by the Provincial Wild Boar Control Plan.
The course - mandatory for those who do not meet the exemption requirements - qualifies to use means of capturing wild boars such as cages and constitutes a prerequisite for accessing the practical courses that the Province will organize to enable direct killing. For more information on the Coldiretti course in departure, lasting 6 hours with compulsory attendance and final exam, it is possible to contact the Coldiretti Area Offices.
