It will be held on Saturday 26 September a Comacchio the first scientific conference of LIFE PERDIX project. The main objective of the project is the recovery and conservation of the Italian Gray Partridge (Perdix perdix italica), declared extinct in kind. The main actions of the project are: genetic analysis, captive breeding and the reintroduction of viable populations within the Natura 2000 site Valli del Mezzano, Special Protection Area (SPA IT4060008) in the Delta del Po.
