ARCI Caccia and EPS formulate the most heartfelt in "Bocca al Lupo" to hunters. They deserve it. Without divisions and prejudices, hunting is activity, culture, economy, rurality which must be affirmed by abandoning retro-thoughts and polemics. The large community of hunters produces environmental well-being, in respect for the territory, of the environment, of animals, of human beings. To contrast the places, the territories where you go hunting is to harm them. The common theme is to bring hunting to life as a whole in all the establishments provided for by law, both public and private in collaboration with the bodies that manage wildlife, even where hunting is forbidden.
For all, a single guideline, gained in knowledge and managed with science and awareness by the universal need for the conservation and protection of biodiversity, the inviolable heritage of the international community. Today is the time to apply the law in force better than in the distant and recent past also by sharing administrative acts that facilitate the implementation process. The boycott of the rules has done as bad to hunting as "poaching". The isolation of the hunters has been facilitated. Often those who invoke to tear the law do so to cover the responsibility of the representatives of their Associations who, in ATC, CA, in protected areas and thus in some private institution, have privileged personal interests and purposes, of also political complacency, not looking at the common good and agriculture and the country.
The time for improvements to current legislation can only arise in the search for shared solutions that lead more quickly and incisively to achieving the objectives of the 157/92 with the full recognition of the managing bodies, in their diversity and integration. Failure to achieve the purposes of the law has betrayed the just hopes of agricultural entrepreneurs recognized as fundamental by ARCI Caccia and EPS, a body that is organic and in connection with Confagricoltura and Agrinsieme. It is time to enhance the strength and contamination capacity of the hunting system internally and towards society and in particular the new generations. “Compatible” hunting tourism is an exchange of solidarity interests in rural areas, it favors sustainable development in those marginal and / or disadvantaged areas and in the activities of small villages in Italy.
Abroad it represents an opportunity to develop brotherhood and exchange of ideas, experience so that hunters and citizens feel, in practice, the belonging to a supranational community no longer attributable only to sterile acronyms that are often proposed looking to the past even in the relationship with Europe, for their life that has little participation democratic. Leaving the nostalgic desire to "resurrect" an authoritarian associationism not of free choice and obliged by law to the past is a hallucination of a time that was. On the other hand, it is essential to find together a unity of intents that are not abstract but achievable with farmers and hunters as protagonists.. The full involvement of the many hunters' principals is necessary, in particular those in the small villages of Italy and with the managers of the wildlife farms, ATCs, CAs; even to the managing bodies of protected areas: a capillary network, increasingly widespread, from which to receive not only ideas but also what has been designed and implemented, proof of the usefulness and necessity of the "hunting", wherever it can be exercised and the role of hunters, subjects naturally more sensitive to the problems deriving from climate change and "sentinels" against pollution, degradation due to the use of plastics, against hydrogeological instability. We do not ask for propaganda from politics, from national and regional institutions strategy of doing for our beloved rural landscape. EPS and ARCI Caccia are there!
