Brescia 17 April - Despite the general period of crisis that has been weighing on all sectors for some time now, the arms industry once again proves to be a sector that holds up, thanks to the ability to renew itself and the passion of the entrepreneurs. Passion that also distinguishes the public of enthusiasts, who crowded the pavilions of the Brescia Fair in these four days of the event since the morning.
Since the first days of the 31st edition of EXA, the perception of a slight increase in visitors has been confirmed, despite the bad weather and rain, which accompanied the event from Saturday to Monday morning. "Brescia is the district of arms production of excellence, a world reference for the production of quality, prestigious weapons known all over the world, brands that have been handed down for generations" - declared Francesco Bettoni, President of the Brescia Chamber of Commerce - " And EXA is the emblem not only of Brescia but of the entire Italian arms sector. "
The 2012 edition was distinguished by the numerous activities dedicated to the public: great success for the new outdoor areas dedicated to laser clay pigeon shooting and dynamic sports shooting airsoft division, and above all for the second edition of the Field Test, held at the TAV Bettolino di Trenzano (BS), where an enthusiastic Renato Lamera involved the public in his overwhelming aerobatic shooting show. At the shooting range of Trenzano over two thousand visitors were able to test the latest innovations proposed by the exhibitors in the hunting route and in the American trap.
Another important novelty of this edition was the establishment of training initiatives dedicated to the police on the issues of security and Law Enforcement, an initiative that involved 160 operators in the sector including members of the armed forces, local police and special sworn guards. . EXA forces has all the prerequisites to become an important aspect of the next edition, as a winning training format to be repeated, supplemented by practical demonstrations.
The organization is satisfied with the results obtained and for having maintained the growth trend of visitors: with an increase, compared to 2011, in the turnout in the first days, stationary on the closing Tuesday, the fair closed with a slight increase to 46 a total of thousands of visitors.
From the first evaluations, even the exhibitors say they are very happy, because they found an interested and prepared public at EXA, especially on Monday, which again this year proved to be the most profitable.
