As always the WWF Abruzzo never misses an opportunity to demonstrate that it is not an organization for the protection of the environment, but more and more trivially an acronym that it seems to find its only raison d'etre in continuous and sterile anti-hunt campaigns. Thus, to make a free controversy and seek consensus, he winks at the legitimate dissatisfaction with which any citizen experiences the limitations on freedom of movement and the economic problems dictated by this exceptional period trying to arouse the indignation of society towards the alleged privileges of hunters, free to move for "Tens and tens of km".
It is a pity that the WWF is careful not to say that ours is not the only category among those practiced in nature free to move, obviously only to exercise our activity, and that these movements take place largely alone, in open places, far from everything and everyone, without putting any of our fellow countrymen at risk by doing so. Contrary to what was stated later, the foundation that underlies the Ordinance - as well as the basis of similar orders issued throughout Italy, from joints of any color - or the need to continue with the performance of the hunting activity for "a state of necessity to achieve the hunting equilibrium and limit the potential danger to public safety" is much more than devoid of scientific value and objective evidence, recognized throughout Europe, where in every country the hunting activity continues without stopping, even where the epidemiological situation is much more serious than in Italy.
If the wild boar in Abruzzo continues to do more and more damage, to respond to the example given by the WWF, the fault is not of the hunting, but of all the limitations that with the most disparate excuses, starting from the bear, which own WWF and companion acronyms have introduced in recent years with the only real purpose of preventing the exercise of hunting as much as possible. Beyond the legal aspects of the affair - which the WWF refers as always to try to intimidate the Public Administration - which are non-existent, as demonstrated by the aforementioned similar Ordinances of the other Regions, the fact remains that the Abruzzo Region has worked well and not to protect the particular interests of hunters, but precisely defenseless to the general interests of our region: economic, security and also environmental, with all due respect to those who believe that the environment manages itself and it is enough to observe it with binoculars from an oasis financed by public money, therefore of all taxpayers, or comfortably seated in an armchair. For our part, therefore, we renew our applause to the President of the Regional Council Marco Marsilio and to the Councilor Imprudent Emanuele and if there really is a note to move to the Region it is only that of not having acted even more promptly.
