The provincial section of Brescia of Italian Federation of Hunting intervened to comment on the novelty in force since 1 January last as regards the regional concession fee. For eleven days, in fact, the 64,56 euro tax can only be paid by Bank transfer, a choice that would seem irrelevant and harmless but which is actually causing various inconveniences. Discomfort is one of them.
According to Federcaccia Brescia, hunters and managers are used to going to thepost office to pay this tax, the regional tax and the insurance card in a single solution, without forgetting the concession of the shed which is mandatory for sheds. The post office is preferred by the elderly and many hunters are, as well as unaccustomed to bank counters.
Furthermore, the Lombardy Region is imposing the transfer and this also means opening an account, a condition not always within everyone's reach. Federcaccia Brescia is convinced that the Councilor for Agriculture, John Fava, has understood all this, but the initiatives remain difficult to understand. The suggestion of the hunting association is that of divide the figure among the 70 hunters in the region and modify the value of the tax to avoid even more onerous inconvenience.
