Federcaccia asks for an urgent meeting of the Veneto Regional Council after the failure to approve the extension to the Wildlife Hunting Plan.
Following the failure to approve the extension of the Veneto wildlife hunting plan, the regional Federcaccia urged, through a letter addressed to the President of the Veneto Regional Council, Clodovaldo Ruffato, to the president of the Giunta Luca Zaia, the regional councilor for hunting Daniele Stival and to the group leaders in the Council of the PDL and Lega, an urgent meeting to discuss the situation.
“Having become aware - writes the regional vice president of the FIdC Oscar Stella - of the inappropriate lack of approval by the Regional Council, of the extension of the PFVR.
Since the non-approval is the result of the lack of quorum, caused by the majority party, of which she is a member and embodies the highest expression in the Regional Council.
Considering that this attitude is a sign of little respect for the hunting world, an entity that has always given a lot to this majority. Having found that the majority directors cannot justify such behavior, charging the responsibility to the competent structure, as, and you as a former president know this, in the past the Plan has been extended many times.
Having pointed out that this non-compliance entails, for the hunting world, after January 31, 2012, a phase of total anarchy, with the risk that the good that the Sectors have done so far will be depleted, while hunters who pay the regional concession fee regularly have the right to have certain and safe rules.
We ask that action be taken to remedy the situation by urgently calling the Regional Council, or that it works in concert with the other Regional Offices to find other solutions aimed at resolving this deleterious condition, in a very short time.
Trusting in your correctness and intellectual honesty towards the hunting world, I offer you my best regards "
THE REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
Oscar Star
