FederFauna is proving very attentive towards theanimal rights extremism, as confirmed by the latest press release published. According to the association, in fact, this ideology and its radicalization represent a very serious risk for livestock producers in our country, as well as for the safety of citizens. Three days ago, Friday 15 December 2017, some unknown persons attacked a mink farm in the province of Ravenna.
There were injuries, open cells and dead or missing animals. In addition, scaffolding was built to prevent the alarm system from being triggered. For FederFauna, therefore, it is not a simple stunt, but a real criminal action. The claim was that ofAnimal Liberation Front, better known by the acronym ALF, an organization considered terrorist in several countries. The ALF would also be financed by other animal rights associations unrelated to the crimes.
It is above all the Made in Italy that pays for it: the assaulted breeding was about to obtain certification on animal welfare, a detail of no small importance. The Federation has been reporting this situation for years, which must be stopped at all costs: the victims are always the same, namely farms, slaughterhouses, factories, laboratories, shops, circuses and zoos, not to mention the stalking of hunters. The request of the association to Italy is to align itself with other nations and approve a rule that recognizes the crime of ecoterrorism.
