On the occasion of a dog competition that took place at the "Sangiustese dog training camp", managed in an exemplary way by the Federcaccia section of Monte San Giusto, the "SCHOOL PROJECT" was presented by the FIdC Marche hunters, which are an integral part of the national coordination of Federcaccia hunters. For the occasion, Federica, Fabiola and Elisa were present and illustrated the project it envisages the involvement of schools with classroom lessons, held by a wildlife technician who will make students aware of the various aquatic species present on our territory and their characteristics.
A guided tour will then follow, in the months of March and April, to some artificial lakes managed by hunters; an example of wetlands in the province of Macerata where, thanks to the constant work of cleaning and controlling the water level, it is possible to observe many palmipeds and waders in the period of ascent to the nesting places, which find in these places some suitable habitats for stopping. Despite the strong anthropization it will be possible to observe many species such as: garganeys, teals, snipe, fighters, gossips, knights of Italy, couriers, pyro pyro.
Species that we often think are very far from our places and which instead are present in our territory and close to our homes. The presentation of the project highlighted the feminine sensitivity in the way of living the relationship with nature and the environment and that federcacciatrici women they intend to spread more and more among young people. Also present at this moment was the provincial president of FIdC Macerata, Nazzareno Galassi, who gave his full availability for the realization of the project.
