THENational Free Hunting Association commented the so-called in the last few hours Reserves Project"Perhaps it is understandable that an organization like Coldiretti aims to look for an extra economic resource with which to recover income. What is not understandable, however, is the condescending attitude shown by some hunting associations such as Federcaccia, Enalcaccia and Arcicaccia which seem to fully share Coldiretti's dangerous initiative. For us at Libera Caccia, art. 842 is and remains a cornerstone on which the social and popular hunting that distinguishes Italian hunting activity is based, deeply differentiating it from the expensive (and private) forms used in other nations. Any attempt to dismantle this foundation, even through the nebulous and equivocal mechanism of an association of Reserves, will find in the Free Hunt an irreducible and fierce and, above all, “declared” opponent! In fact, it is one thing to seek and identify synergies and forms of collaboration with the agricultural world, and another is to suffer this aired private offensive by Coldiretti, which has not been previously analyzed with the hunting associations. If the UNA Foundation, to which ANLC does not adhere, while appreciating and sharing some meritorious initiatives, believes that it follows this path without a broad and preventive association between the two, it will assume responsibility and consequences towards Italian hunters, together with Federcaccia and Enalcaccia. A separate consideration should then be made on the strange attitude of Arcicaccia - in particular of its president - who, despite holding the position of vice president of UNA, seems to fall out of favor in the face of the position taken by UNA and asks for the resignation of its president. Zipponi. If it were not the usual demagogic double-dealing, and if the amazement and disagreement were true, then Arcicaccia should not limit himself to making fire reports asking for Zipponi's resignation, but should immediately exit UNA without continuing to keep his foot in two shoes. . Finally, a dutiful question should be addressed to UNA and its role on Coldiretti's initiative and, above all, on his position regarding art. 842. All hunting associations and especially Italian hunters would like to have clear ideas".
The answer of Arch Hunting did not wait: "After our complaint, there is widespread criticism of the initiative of the Honorable Zipponi (CNCN, Armieri, Beretta) in alliance with Coldiretti. After the Confavi del Lazio, which censors it and asks everyone to resign, Liberacaccia also joins the chorus, misrepresenting, however, facts and background. First, President Maffei is not Vice President of the Una Foundation. Second point, as admitted by Sparvoli himself, the original idea of the Una Foundation was good and still valid, as were many of the initiatives implemented. There is no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater, Arci Caccia does not come out of the organisms if it believes it is not right, it asks whoever did it wrong to do it, in order to bring the bar back in the right direction. Consideration that we could take on the theme most dear to us, that of the unity of the hunting world, a natural path, which all hunters want, but which finds personalisms and centers of power on its path. Let's remove what is opposed to the unitary process and finally we will be able to conclude in the best way, giving future and hope to hunting in Italy".
