The president of 'National Union of Alpine Zone Hunters has officially announced that, given the protraction of the restrictive measures resulting from the health emergency in progress and therefore the impossibility of being able to predict with certainty the possibility for the end of August to be able to hold "meetings of numerous people", also after hearing the local authorities, the Council UNCZA, in the session of the day 8nd June, reluctantly decided to cancel the holding of the “55th UNCZA Annual Assembly”, already scheduled in Macugnaga on 21 - 23 August 2020.
On this occasion, however, it is announced as of now that the UNCZA Assembly next year will always be proposed again at Macugnaga (VCO), presumably confirming the work program already prepared for this year. It should be noted that for the sole execution of the mandatory administrative obligations (approval of financial statements, appointment of Colleges, etc.) a meeting of the Assembly members only will be called towards the end of the year, at a date and place to be determined.
"Interpreting the sadness that surely resides in all our members for the decision that had to be taken, what has never happened in the 55 years of life of our Association but, strongly trusting in a definitive exit of our country from health difficulties, I hope - said the president Sandro Flaim - to be able to resume our associative activity as soon as possible, as always made above all of social relations and to be able to embrace again without the aid of the computer ”.
