Il Piedmont Regional Administrative Court rejected the appeals filed by two hunters against the revocation of the firearms license by the Asti and Alessandria Police Headquarters. This is the regional president of Federcaccia, Bruno Morena, and the former president of the provincial Federcaccia of Asti, Aldo Rosio. The reason is obvious: based on a wiretapping following an investigation into the supply of hares to repopulate the hunting areas particular phrases have been heard.
While the two hunters commented on the reconfirmation relating to the presidency of the Asti Territorial Hunting Area, Rosio complained about the choice. The latter spoke of a simple chat between friends, which resulted in a joke that was not considered such. Hearing his friend's complaints, Morena replied with a "And you shoot him a shot", Phrase to which Rosio replied with irony ("I care about my gun license").
The Police Headquarters were not of the same opinion e they found these words threatening, ordering the seizure of weapons and the revocation of licenses. Morena's defense has repeatedly emphasized the ironic nature of the joke, even if heavy. The judges of the TAR rejected the request for suspension and have the decision on the matter was postponed to the next few months. Both hunters said they were calm, sure that a provocation cannot result in such a hard choice.
