The regional councilor Sacchetto: “In 20 days the disbursement of over 1 million and 800 thousand euros, about 50% of the resources budgeted this year. An important signal to deal with the damage caused to farms by wildlife, especially by non-huntable species ". The Region was given a mandate to proceed with the payment operations in favor of the Territorial Areas of Hunting (Atc) and the Alpine Districts (Ca) by starting the disbursement of the sums relating to the 2013 advance on the damage caused by wildlife, resources of just under one million euros and, secondly, the compensation on non-huntable species (over 870 thousand euros). Through the operations entrusted to Arpea, the resources, totaling over 1 million and 820 thousand euros, will reach the Atc and Ca present in the area, contributing substantially to the costs of dealing with the damage caused by wildlife. The sum that will reach the Territorial Areas and Alpine Districts by mid-April represents approximately 50% of the allocation of regional resources foreseen for this year.
The Regional Councilor for Agriculture Claudio Sacchetti states: "I believe that an important result has been achieved in a reasonable timeframe, the effort by the offices has been considerable: just under 2 million euros will arrive on the territory in a period in which there there are substantial liquidity problems (sum that follows the 343 thousand euros disbursed at the end of 2013). We know the extent of the damage caused by wildlife, many species are not huntable, I am thinking in this regard of dormice, but not only, and the heavy inconvenience caused by the massive proliferation of these animals to the daily activities of farms. The Department is following with attention the evolution of the phenomenon and puts in place all the tools available: we are in March and 50% of the budgeted resources will reach the territory ".
