The Province of Ascoli Piceno implements in advance the measures of the new Wildlife Hunting Plan in the phase of final approval containing new rules for the hunting season.
Considering the imminent start of the 2012-2013 Hunting Season, the competent provincial service has taken steps to implement a series of measures according to the contents of the new Wildlife Hunting Plan adopted by the Province but still in the final approval phase.
Among the approved measures we find the return to free hunting of the ZRC, Restocking and Capture Areas of Ripatransone and Acquaviva / Monteprandone as well as of the CPUR, Public Reproduction Center of Rovecciano, Folignano and Montemoro, limited to a few days.
Only the hunters resident in the ATC, the owners or the tenants of the funds (minimum of 2 hectares) included in the area will be authorized to exercise the hunting activity in these territories as long as they are holders of a regular license. Likewise, exclusively in the areas listed above, the training of hunting dogs can be carried out from 15 August as provided for in the Hunting Calendar.
From the above provisions, including dog training, the Pescolla Restocking and Capture Area is excluded, for which the hunting ban and the access ban for dog training will continue.
From next October, the signaling tables delimiting the perimeter of these protected territories will be eliminated, which will thus be returned to the scheduled hunt and accessible to all according to what is dictated by the Hunting Calendar.
