Hunting: Friuli, the Regional Wildlife Plan passes with the satisfaction of the commissioner Panontin but the hunters of Federcaccia, Enalcaccia and Liberacaccia who use the TAR do not like it.
"Satisfied" the regional councilor of reference, Paolo Panontin; ready to appeal to the TAR the representative of Federcaccia, Enalcaccia and Liberacaccia, the only member of the Regional Wildlife Committee who voted against the Wildlife Plan, a programming tool that "had been engaging the Region for about twenty years", recalled Panontin. Thus ended the first long game for the adoption of this instrument which will now have to be examined by the Executive: a favorable opinion from the body that had been analyzing the prepared text for some time. To vote in favor the world of farmers, universities, hunting districts, environmentalists, summarized at the end the commissioner, who on the only vote against he considered: "I have incessantly carried out a work of mediation in that forum to to bring opposites together. If in the end everyone is partially dissatisfied, it means that it is an unbalanced plan ». Therefore, “the hope is that over time some critical issues will be overcome. If this is not the case, I will take note of it ».
On the agenda there were some chapters of the document that "have not been dealt with", Paolo Viezzi, the member who expressed himself contrary to the Plan, said yesterday evening. “Everyone basically acknowledged that there are critical elements, but we went ahead anyway because, they say, we couldn't be without them. Therefore - he continued - a wrong text was approved, already with the idea of making subsequent changes ».
After the opinion of the Committee, it will be the Giunta that will have to express itself for the approval and "I hope that it will make its considerations on the goodness of this instrument". If, on the other hand, he were to ratify what came out of the Committee, "the road to appeal before the TAR is marked," concluded Viezzi. "It is a starting point - said the commissioner -, but now we have a planning tool".
