Hunting in derogation: The TAR of Veneto has rejected the appeals of the Venetian environmentalists, the Regional Councilor for Hunting Daniele Stival underlines this.
Venice, 26 Nov - ”The TAR of Veneto also rejected the appeal presented by Lav, WWF, Enpa and Lipu against the regional resolution authorizing the hunting in derogation of some species of birds. A new and very important confirmation of the goodness of the regional choices on the subject ”.
This was underlined by the regional councilor for hunting Daniele Stival who, commenting on the new intervention of the Regional Administrative Court in the matter of hunting in derogation, expresses "great satisfaction for a decision of the administrative judiciary that does justice to the correctness of the path identified by the Regional Council in regulating the whole question, as complex as it is difficult: the best possible answer to the many controversies with often over the top tones raised by various parties ".
"The Veneto Region - adds Stival - has fully demonstrated its capacity for correct administrative management, with a balanced approach thanks to which a fundamental Venetian tradition, such as hunting small migratory fauna, can continue in the course of hunting season without interruptions and in the certainty of law ".
Stival expresses special thanks to the regional structures of the hunting and fishing project and the regional advocacy that have actively collaborated in the drafting and defense of the regional provision in court.
