Hunting Show 2014, the Hunting Department of the Veneto Region organizes the conference on the theme "Scientific research applied to woodcock".
This edition of Hunting Show is increasingly full of initiatives and moments of meeting and training. The Hunting Department of the Veneto Region has in fact organized the meeting "Scientific research applied to woodcock" by the Amici di Scolopax-onlus Association, which will be held on Saturday 8 February starting at 16.00 in Hall 7, Room 7.1.2 .XNUMXb. After the introduction by Dr. Mario Richieri from the Veneto Region, Prof. Mario Spagnesi will present and coordinate the planned interventions. The proceedings will open with the intervention of the Regional Councilor Daniele Stival on "The importance of research for a wise management of hunting activities". Alessandro Tedeschi, President of the "Amici di Scolopax-onlus" Association will follow, who will illustrate "The technology satellite at the service of the study of woodcock migration - Three-year research period ".
Below Ibon Telletxea, CCB Spain, will report on “Research, training and synergy at the service of woodcock knowledge and management” and Nicola Tormen, Padua University, on “Extensions and implementations to the Scolopax Project; Genetic research and the study on the “brevirostra”. The report by Dr. Michele Sorrenti of the FIdC Bird Migration Office on “Research as knowledge, management and conservation” will conclude the work.
