Caccia Village is exposure, passion, enthusiasm and fun, but also excellent game-based gastronomy. Tasting it in the restaurant specializing in the culinary art of hunting at the fair is an indispensable pleasure.
While, for the grandiose event of Caccia Village to be held in Bastia Umbra (PG) on 16 - 17 - 18 May, requests continue to arrive from exhibitors, also following the forfeit of EXA, the organization is working on last details. On the one hand, to find a rational positioning of the numerous exhibitors who are booking in recent days, on the other hand the thought is turned to the public and its well-being to spend a day full of pleasure. Precisely for this reason there can be no event with a hunting background without the latter being able to taste the fruit; game cooked by skilled hands, accompanied by good wine. In this regard, the “Hunter's Restaurant” is currently being set up inside the pavilions of the exhibition center and will delight the palates of those present with the most typical recipes of central Italian hunting gastronomy during the three days. The restaurant will offer a great variety of game dishes, some of which are particularly sought after and which will delight what promises to be a record-breaking audience.
Caccia Village is also increasingly bringing the international culture of hunting available to all enthusiasts. Never before have there been exhibitors representing many European countries like this year, able to tell us about and make us appreciate “their ars venandi” and the Central European traditions. At the forefront of this "internalization" of hunting culture, weapons, hunting travel agencies and producers of hunting accessories.
But also the taste for beauty is present at Caccia Village; besides the exposure of the Franchi Imperiale Montecarlo side-by-side that belonged to Gino Bartali, which FIDASC, through Giovanni Villa, is honored to host in its stand, the Fopa armory in Fossombrone will exhibit another valuable weapon: a prestigious Breda Gemini side-by-side from the years 50s with olive wood stock and forend, which the armory wanted to name after Fausto Coppi through a superb engraving made by the master engraver Francesco Medici.
So much to admire at Caccia Village, available to all enthusiasts, many of whom announce trips of hundreds of kilometers in cheerful company, in order not to miss the Umbrian appointment, which has long since entered into its own right, one of the most important of our country.
