La Federcaccia of Cecina (Livorno), the Hunters Section "Bensi L. and Scappini G.", in collaboration with the Gruppo Cinofilo Livornese and the provincial section of Livorno of the same Federcaccia organized a qualification course for handlers of filing dogs. The lessons will take place in March and will cover the hounds to follow which are part of Group 6, as well as registered in recognized herd books. The overall duration will be 16 hours, but who exactly is this course for?
All those people who want to make their contribution to the management of ungulates. The main objective is to train and qualify 50 hunters specialized in this hunting management using the turn method. Lessons will take place on Saturday 11 March from 9 to 18 at the Auditorium in Via Giuseppe Verdi in Cecina, followed by those on Sunday 12 March from 9 to 19. a practical test in an enclosure, in addition to the final check at the Auditorium.
What will be studied specifically? The subjects will have to do with biology, the study and management of the species, but also with hunting techniques and dog lovers. The course will be attended in full and there will be time to register until the next one 6 March. The speakers of the course will be Dr. Gabriele Stagi and Dr. Serena Donnini.
