Not all of the Venetian hunting world seems to agree with the law that has just been passed fines of up to 3600 euros for those who disturb the hunt. Luciano Santa, number one of Federcaccia Venice, explained that the Criminal Code already provides for a discipline of this type, moreover 38% of the cards distributed in the region refer to the Italian Federation of Hunting, therefore the councilor Sergio Berlato (promoter of the rule) cannot be defined as the “patron of double-shotguns”.
Santa did not like another legislative initiative by Berlato himself, the law on hunting mobility which in his opinion will be quashed due to violations of the Law 157 of 1992. For the president of Federcaccia Venezia it is also a question of costs. Santa pointed out that citizens have to incur important expenses to promote "Unacceptable laws", without forgetting the costs of the regional legal offices that will be called to defend them.
The president fears management of hunting activities only in the reserves, as happens in France and other European countries, perhaps through a referendum of anti-hunt movements. The invitation to the press is to inform with real data, without instigating citizens against a passion as old as man"The Hunting Disorder Act is a cultural denial".
