THEViterbo Hunting Territorial Area 1 has organized a training course for aspirants roe deer selection hunters: the lessons will be held on 14, 15, 21 and 22 April next at the Auditorium of Bagnoregio. The minimum number of participants has been set at 50, while it will not be possible to exceed 60 units. The topics covered will follow the didactic models provided by theISPRA in the guidelines for the management of cervids and bovids.
Attendance is compulsory and each participant may be granted no more than two absences altogether, otherwise there will be a risk non-admission to the final exam. What will we talk about specifically? The aspiring hunters will have to deepen the issues related to the morphology of ungulates, their generalities, distribution and status of the Italian species. There will also be space for the concepts of applied ecology, the annual profit increase and the biological basis of the sustainability of the sampling.
In addition, the teachers will talk about environmental and wildlife requalification, reintroductions and the various provincial regulations, as well as obviously the game plan for hunting. To better understand the roe deer, then, the lessons will address issues such as ecology, the social behavior of the wild, the annual life cycle and the impacts on the forest and agricultural productions. Finally, the participants will be able to recognize the traces and signs of presence of animals in nature.
