“With a series of targeted amendments - he says Floriano Massardi - we wanted to make life easier for hunters by introducing new things important in matters of hunting activities, modifying the rules to the advantage of those who practice what is not just a sport but a real traditional activity. The first approved amendment provides for the possibility of preparing thetemporary stakeout even the day before the hunt. Until now it was essential to carry out this operation, which can take a long time, the same day, while from now on this problem will finally disappear.
Another interesting novelty concerns the existing fixed positions; we wanted to reduce the minimum distance between these from the previous 200 meters to the current 150. This is a choice of common sense, which will save hundreds of stalks built when the distance was used for measurements. metric rib, which takes into account the hollows of the ground, unlike the current measurement system by GPS or laser, which only calculates the distance as the crow flies. There are also changes from a bureaucratic point of view: from today the exam for the hunting qualification can be carried out in any Province, in the respective territorial offices (UTR), regardless of the candidate's residence.
Added to these they are present in the text of the Simplification Law other important innovations, such as the establishment of provincial commissions for the qualification to hunt ungulates. The approval of my amendments - concludes Floriano Massardi - shows how Lombardy region, despite having to deal with the constraints dictated by Europe, continues to protect hunters, trying to help them practice their passion.
