It met yesterday for the first time there Regional Hunting Faunal Council; the proceedings were opened by the greeting of the president of the Lombardy region Attilio Fontana and were then led and coordinated by the Regional Councilor Fabio Rolfi. Three items on the agenda: the rings issue, the hunting calendar and the Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan. On the rings the debate was wide and in-depth but without a definitive solution having been found on the fate of the 425.000 live calls held by Lombard hunters.
Only by solving the question of dimensional tolerances will it be possible to give certainty and serenity to hunters for next hunting season but among the bystanders, despite the solicitations of our president, the lawyer. Lorenzo Bertacchi, a shared solution was not reached and everything was postponed to an in-depth study of the offices. Not even for the identification of future breeding rings there are certainties other than identifying the preferential choice in the steel ring.
For the Hunting Calendar, the head of the offices communicated that the draft will be prepared shortly, after the implementation of the indications of the Provincial Councils, and will be submitted to Vinca and the calendar will be published by June 15th. Finally, on the Hunting Wildlife Plan, it was announced that it will be made public on February 14th and starting from that date the hunting associations will have 40 days to make their observations.
