As disclosed by the CCT the proposals of teams and districts were presented regarding the Objective Law on Tuscan ungulates. The discussions on boar hunting and the results of the regulatory text continue to remain at the center of the discussion in the rooms of the Region, but especially among hunters. The essential points are as follows:
- New regulation of the wild boar selection hunting, well-defined periods;
- Introduction of a buffer zone between the dedicated and non-dedicated areas;
- No to any form of foraging for selecontrollers wild boar in an unsuitable area;
- Full recognition of the role of wild boar hunting teams in control and prevention activities;
- Review of procedures and times for the exercise of hunting in single form in non-suitable areas;
- Review and streamlining of the procedures of art. 37 to encourage control and killing operations in wildlife institutes in appropriate times and forms, also with the involvement of teams.
- Normally reaffirm the traditional hunted wild boar hunting, as an instrument of serious containment, rooted and desired in order to give popular continuity to this important form of hunting.
Finally, it was decided to keep the discussion and timely information open through other meeting occasions, onevolution of the amendment phase to the Law and on the works of the Regional Council.
