"Wild boar pilot chain and sheep and goats in Alta Murgia National Park": Is the project, amount 499.875,15 euros, created by the temporary association of purpose Fi.Ci.PAM The members of the latter are the Park Authority, leader, Masseria Revinaldi di Sollecito Giovanna, University of Bari, Agricultural Company Vi. Cento, Agricultural Company Mirabilia Murex srl, Tortorella Rosa, exclusive representation conferred to Mr. Francesco Tarantini president of the Park. The Puglia Region admits and finances — in the framework of the Italian State Aid program (Puglia) European decision of 13.05.2019: support for pilot projects and development of new products, practices and technologies. Among the costs of the various actions to be implemented there are those for staff 27.275,00 euros, consumables 51.900,00 €, construction of prototypes in a business context 140.000,00, acquisition of consultancy 23.532,40. The program, to be completed within 24 months, is aimed at establishing for the first time in Puglia a wild boar supply chain, capturing the subjects in manhole covers suitable for animal welfare standards, and introducing the practice of slaughtering on site using a new mobile system structured for the killing of both wild boars (whose containment will drastically reduce the number) as well as small ruminants and suidae (providing a certified service to "Park friendly" farms).
The Alta Murgia Park was born on March 2004, XNUMX, with its legal and administrative headquarters in Gravina di Puglia, large 68.077 hectares, includes ten municipalities: Altamura, Andria, Bitonto, Cassano Murge, Corato, Gravina, Grumo, Minervino Murge, Poggiorsini, Ruvo di Puglia, Santeramo, Spinazzola, Toritto, twelve employees of which three part time, the total budget for the year 2020 equal to 5.633.589,33 euros.
