La Regional Council of Piedmont is looking into the new hunting law: these days the text is being discussed in the Third Commission of the Regional Council and theValle Stura Montana Union (province of Cuneo) said it was contrary to the provisions of the law. In particular, the Municipal Councilor for the Environment of the Municipality of Moiola, Fabrizio Garis, suggested the approval of an agenda.
The main problems are those related toArticle 18, according to which the costs for the recovery and care of the wild are borne by the municipalities. The law provides that these premises are in agreement with the recovery centers for the forecast of economic reimbursements. There is a new law and this is seen as a positive aspect, but according to Fabrizio Biolè, councilor of the Montana Union, the municipalities cannot always bear the costs, given that wildlife is an unavailable heritage of the state.
Biolè also recalled the costs that are already incurred, which is why one was presented motion with request for amendment. The hope of the Union is to see for once an assumption of responsibility for the change.
