First the intuition, then the commitment and finally the realization. There “Giovanni Falcone” Nursery School in Monsummano Terme (city in the province of Pistoia) will be able to benefit from a dedicated space near the neighbor Marshes of Fucecchio, an initiative made possible thanks to the municipal section of the Italian Federation of Hunting andEcoclub International.
The Tuscan town is located near the humid area, known for its biodiversity and the difficulties with which hunting is carried out. The two associations have decided to rebuild this space just for the pupils, using fauna prints found in this area and other typical objects. In a nutshell, we are talking about a faithful representation, as well as very useful from the didactic point of view, of the typical habitat of the Padule.
As the hunters involved in the project explained, the goal was to worthily celebrate a unique environmental reality, not to mention its historical importance. In this way children and adults will have the opportunity to discover little known aspects of the area. The opportunity was made available by municipality of Pistoia and now there is the hope that the collaboration can continue in the future, perhaps with visits and excursions.
