George Cislaghi, delegate ofACLI Environment inTerritorial hunting area of Foggia, has published a note to investigate the latest decisions of the Management Committee. According to Cislaghi, the requirements of the Puglia Region Hunting Service regarding the conversion of annual permits into daily permits for extra-regional hunters.
The resolution dates back to 13 April, when the rankings of the extra-regional and the assignments of the annual hunting permits to the migratory fauna. However, a further 119 permits are currently to be assigned, those that the Management Committee intended to convert to 2380 daily. Based on this complaint, hundreds of hunters have applied for daily permits, paying the shipping costs for questions never taken into consideration, also because the 119 entitled persons were not in a position to obtain it.
Cislaghi then criticized the non-census of wild boars by the Apulian ATC and the organization of training courses for the selective collection of ungulates without being in possession of actual data on the real consistency. The final request is to commission the Foggia area once and for all or to appoint an ad acta commissioner to resolve the most serious problems.
