Press release
With reference to the abolition of the National Catalog of weapons, Assoarmieri announces that:
- finally Italy too has conformed itself to the other member states at European level, guaranteeing and maintaining the sale of arms with absolute safety;
- Italian citizens, in fact, will not be able to hold, sell or buy weapons in a different way than before;
- on the other hand, an outdated, useless and wasteful bureaucratic instrument of public money has been eliminated without, on the other hand, causing any prejudice to the safety of the citizen;
- the weapons, in fact, will be tested, approved and classified by the National Test Bench according to the ordinary national and European law.
Milan, November 11 2011
