Mark Del Castello, president ofTerritorial hunting area of Sulmona (in the province of L'Aquila) has sent an important communication concerning all those hunters who are interested in hunting collection of the rock partridge. Specifically, it was decided to close three days ago, Friday 21 October 2016, on "Monte Greco" Management District of the gallinaceous.
This means that in this area it will not be possible to go hunting, in order to reach the withdrawal limit that was imposed on 3 October through the plan of the same ATC, which was also authorized by ISPRA (Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research). The communication was sent to the supervisory bodies.
At the beginning of the month it was decided to fix a 13 the maximum number of items to be picked up and after just over two weeks the total has been reached. Monte Greco is an Abruzzo peak that reaches 2300 meters in height and it is one of the largest in the regional Apennines, as well as being the highest ever in the group of the Marsicani Mountains.
