Aldo Pompetti, number one of the Lazio regional section of the Italian Federation della Caccia, has decided to send a letter to the governor of Lazio, Nicola Zingaretti, regarding the new one natural reserve "Sughereta di Pomezia". The establishment of this area was greeted with amazement by the president of Federcaccia Lazio himself, and it was also recalled how the bewilderment and exasperation of hunters towards the regional administration are now at an all-time high.
The establishment of nature reserves to protect wildlife is continuing despite the 30% limit being exceeded which must be respected as regards the agro-forestry-pastoral territory of Lazio. The Region would therefore be "cleverly avoiding recourse to the TAR".
Pompetti then addressed the leaders of the political groups that are in Regional Council, from which hunters expect greater representation and protection, as the main cause of wildlife damage to agriculture it lies in the excessive percentage of territory that is closed to hunting. Now Federcaccia Lazio awaits an immediate response to this letter to respect once and for all the laws currently in force.
