SWAROVSKI OPTIK STR 80 with reticle: In order for sport shooters and long-range hunters to distinguish details correctly and reliably, an observation telescope is absolutely essential.
By taking advantage of a new technology, SWAROVSKI OPTIK is the first manufacturer to be able to project a reticle directly into an observation telescope. The reticle can thus be activated or deactivated as required. The new SWAROVSKI OPTIK STR 80 observation telescope with reticle also boasts an extremely high-performance optical system.
This telescope is also perfectly suited for documentation purposes, for example in combination with the TLS APO digiscoping adapter. And as a finishing touch, this product comes with a large assortment of accessories. The STR 80 observation telescope with reticle will be available from December 2014.
Il Long-range shooting has become an achievable goal especially for sport shooters but also to an ever-increasing extent for hunters, thanks to a number of innovations in sporting and hunting firearms and at the level oflong distance optics. Long range shooting will always be a challenge that appeals to the shooter's sense of responsibility and realistic assessment of his skills. The interaction between observation, measurement and shooting is also particularly important. For these crucial situations, starting from December 2014, SWAROVSKI OPTIK will offer a new product: the STR 80 observation telescope with projected reticle.
New standards: the lattice
The integrated reticle (MOA or MRAD) on the STR 80 observation telescope has a special design. It is a projected reticle that can be turned on or off. This allows you to use it throughout the entire zoom range and even in bright light (10 levels of adjustment are available for day and 5 for night). Diopter compensation can be adjusted separately. This telescope allows you to easily switch from evaluating the distance of a subject, of known size or positioned between two points, to observing the target without any complications. The reticle allows you to assess the risk of missing the mark in relation to the aiming point. It is therefore possible to immediately make the necessary adjustment on the rifle scope.
Proven quality: the optical equipment
With powerful crystal clear fluoride HD lenses and an 80mm diameter lens, the STR 80 observation telescope guarantees excellent vision and excellent detail recognition even at long distances, as well as producing bright, lifelike images as well. in low light conditions. The lightweight aluminum body is robust and reliable and its resistance has been tested in every climatic zone. The non-slip and anti-reflective rubber coating absorbs any type of vibration. Of course, the STR observation telescope with reticle is protected against dust and dirt and is watertight up to 4 m thanks to the internal focusing mechanism and filling with inert gas.
High versatility and functionality: the accessories
The ability to document results is an important factor, especially for long-range shooting. The STR 80 telescope, when used in conjunction with the TLS APO system (for SLR and interchangeable lens cameras) and the PA-i5 adapter (for iPhone 5 / 5S), is ideal for these purposes. The STR 80 telescope comes with lens cap and ballistic turret tool and is compatible with the SSR II balanced base. The integrated sun visor, if required, is able to prevent the reflections produced by the incident side light. A set of attachment guides (MRS) and eyecups (WE) is also available.
