Francesco Sabini, number one ofTerritorial area of Caccia Salinello (Teramo) explicitly asked the extraordinary commissioner Francis Tarricone the hunting reopening of the Vascello area in Tortoreto. As reported by Cityrumors.it, two years ago the municipality of Abruzzo prohibited hunting in this area, which is located between the beach and the town itself.
The mayor's order was challenged before the Regional Administrative Court, but the situation has not yet unlocked. This is why the Teramo ATC has "dusted off" the question, given that the reopening of hunting is imminent throughout Italy. The ban in the Vessello area is considered illegitimate, taking into account the fact that provisions of this type come from the state and, subsequently, by the Region and the Province.
The competent authorities are therefore other, not the municipal administration as happened in this case. Sabini also pointed out that hunters know which laws to respect, in particular the necessary distances from homes, towns and agricultural fields. The note from the Sector ends with the hope that the commissioner will not endorse a situation of illegitimacy.
