In the new Treviso Hunting Calendar, the days for hunting in the plains remain two despite the protests of the hunters.
The Province of Treviso has decided to ignore the protests of Italcaccia and in the new Hunting Calendar, now ratified by the Region, has provided that hunters will be able to take advantage of two days a week for hunting in the plains, one on Sunday and the other. day of your choice between Wednesday and Saturday.
The provincial councilor for hunting, Mirco Lorenzon, had to mediate between the hunters, especially those of the Italcaccia hunting association who asked to grant three days a week for hunting, and the owners of agricultural land who instead asked to reduce the two weekly hunting days.
In the end it was decided to choose a halfway solution that would satisfy the two parties involved, at least this is the hope of the Province from which they explained, "We have convened and heard the opinion of the presidents of the ATC, of the representatives of the agricultural associations and the representatives of the hunting associations, we asked that their proposals be sent in writing and we decided to propose to the Region the collection of the sedentary fauna in the territory of the ATC only for two days a week, without applying the limitation to the fox and the exercise of falconry ".
