By the April a new one will be developed wild boar management plan in Umbria, new strategies will be adopted to increase the culling and facilitate the drastic reduction of the species where its presence is incompatible with agricultural activity. This is the announcement made in Wildlife-hunting consultation by the councilor Roberto Morroni, which has indicated since the beginning of its mandate in the containment of wild boars and wildlife one of the priorities to meet the needs of farmers and to limit the risks on roads in the region.
The commissioner also intends to facilitate the development of the game meat supply chain to pursue economic and health objectives.
