To close the meeting will be the supporters and patrons of this high-level training course.
The First Level University Master in "Wildlife management in protected areas"Aims to train professional figures capable of competently promoting and implementing the wildlife management in protected areas. To this end, it develops skills to understand and know the needs and methodologies underlying the correct management of fauna, in the specific conservation dimension of protected areas.
It is aimed at graduates who deal or intend to deal with the scientific aspects and, absolutely exclusively, with the legal aspects inherent to wildlife management in protected areas.
In fact, not only graduates in Biological, Natural, Environmental, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Production Sciences, Environmental Engineering, and related degrees, but also graduates in Law and Political Sciences can access the Master.
The duration of the Master is one year. Potential employment prospects concern the managerial, scientific and technical roles of administrations in environmental and forestry matters in protected areas and territorial bodies.
Preference of access is therefore reserved for police and environmental and forestry surveillance services. But the master also creates an exclusive free-professional competence, to be spent with multiple opportunities even in the private sector, for management, scientific and research activities.
