Massimo Rodighiero, head of Cacciatori Italiani, met with the undersecretary of Agriculture, Senator Patrizio La Pietra and the vice-president of the Agriculture Commission at House of Representatives, Hon. Maria Cristina Caretta, to discuss useful initiatives to ensure greater legality and legal certainty in hunting activities.
During the meeting, Undersecretary La Pietra confirmed the Government's attention towards the hunting sector, also considering the essential function of its operators as bioregulators serving the protection of the national faunal and environmental heritage.
The president of Cacciatori Italiani, Massimo Rodighiero, thanking the undersecretary La Pietra and the vice-president Caretta, recalled the constant availability of all operators in the hunting sector in placing themselves at the service of the institutions for the protection of the national environmental and faunal heritage, a theme on which Vice President Caretta highlighted the importance of focusing on all those excellent initiatives that allow us to monitor and protect the faunal consistency on the national territory.
Finally, in making the undersecretary aware of the Venetian hunting situation, President Rodighiero underlined how the current regulatory framework still leaves gray areas that do not allow the peaceful carrying out of hunting activities.
