Hon. Sergio Berlato, President of the third Permanent Council Commission of the Veneto with competences on hunting and fishing, joined the requests made in recent days by Federcaccia Veneto regarding the failure to grant the two supplementary days of aquatic hunting in the lagoon area.
As communicated in a note, with a question for immediate response to the Regional Council, the Hon. In fact, Sergio Berlato urged the Regional Council to "correct the questionable interpretation issued by a regional manager in April 2015, according to which in the lagoon area of the valley it would no longer be possible to practice hunting in compliance with the provisions of the regulations in force but that the possibility for every hunter to hunt in the lagoon area of the valley must inexplicably be reduced by two days a week.
"We consider it unacceptable - commented Mr Berlato - that a regional manager arrogates himself the right to make free restrictions on hunting activities through free and subjective interpretations of legislative acts issued by the Veneto Regional Council".
“Following these forcing - concluded the Hon. Sergio Berlato - it is natural to ask whether the decisions are taken by the members of the Executive or by the regional leaders. Perhaps we are faced with a confirmation of the famous saying "when politics is weak, the bureaucracy rules?".
