The Regional Coordination of Calabrian Hunting Associations composed of Federcaccia, Libera Caccia, Anuu, Arciccaccia, Enalcaccia, Eps and Italcaccia expresses its satisfaction and informs the hunters and the whole community ofoutcome of the Council Chamber of the TAR Calabria, which through its own ordinance rejected the appeal presented by WWF, Lipu and Lac, against the regional hunting calendar, cautiously suspending the sampling only on the pochard and the lapwing.
A success of common sense and legal correctness that will allow Calabrian hunters to start the hunting season serenely. The Coordination, with the patronage of Avv. Biagio Di Vece intervened ad adiuvandum, at the Tar, for strengthen the objective framework of the correctness of the path which had led the Region to approve and issue the Hunting calendar, welcoming the proposals of the Hunting Associations present in the Council, supported by technical-scientific acts and research. A work conducted in the Faunal-Hunting Council, where all the stakeholders, including the protectionist associations, they would have a duty to participate.
The occasion allows us to stigmatize the attitude, not at all constructive of the applicants, who for years have preferred to initiate disputes instead of confronting and contributing with collaborative spirit, which instead occurs among the other associations and public components. Our thanks, as well as to the TAR, goes to the lawyer Di Vece, who once again positively assisted the Regional Coordination, to Avv. Bruni and Fidc Nazionale for the solid intervention in this judgment, to Dr. Michele Sorrenti, to the Technical Scientific Offices of Federcaccia, to the Regional Agriculture Department, Hunting Office and to the Regional Advocacy. The only discordant note is the suspension of the withdrawal of Pochard and Lapwing, on which Ispra itself had given a positive opinion, and the Region, through the deeds of the Department and the Hunting Office, had adequately motivated the choice of including the two species among those that can be hunted.
On this point we will proceed to trial for assert the right technical-scientific reasons, which in our opinion do not in any way affect the hunting levy. Finally, we cannot fail to welcome with great satisfaction the fact that the TAR Calabria has fully accepted the thesis of the National Fidc Defensive College, the Regional Coordination of Hunting Associations and the Regional Advocacy, according to which, pursuant to art. 14, paragraph 7, L. 157/1992, the Regions can extend the validity and effectiveness of the PFVRs since the law speaks of any changes or revisions of the five-year period.
