Hunting: Liguria, the hunting calendar will be approved by regional law; unanimously approved the bill by Francesco Bruzzone and the Northern League.
During the session of the Regional Council of Liguria on 26.03.2014, with 19 votes in favor, the bill 126 was approved in the Chambers, an initiative of the councilors Francesco Bruzzone, Maurizio Torterolo and Edoardo Rixi (Northern League - Liguria), " Amendments to Law 11 of 1992 February 157 (Regulations for the protection of homeothermic fauna and for hunting). The signatories of the proposal ask that the Regions be able to deliberate the hunting calendars by law and not through an administrative provision, as foreseen by a sentence of the Constitutional Court. The adoption of the Hunting Calendar through a law would protect the measure from the repeated jurisdictional disputes that have been repeated in recent years: if the calendar were adopted by law, in fact, the appeal could only be presented to the Constitutional Court by the Government or, exceptionally, by the administrative judiciary; on the contrary, the administrative measures can be challenged at the Administrative Court by individual citizens or associations.
Francesco Bruzzone, leader of the Lega Nord Liguria group, explained the terms of his initiative, reaffirming the autonomy of the Regions in regulating the matter, recalling that other 18 Regions are in the same situation. Bruzzone, finally, and recalled that the Regional Council unanimously approved an agenda on this matter on November 26, 2013 and invited colleagues to take an "act of consistency" in today's vote.
