An important meeting promoted by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters focused on the evaluation of the proposals arising from the "Hunting Table" of the Tuscany Region, set up by the President of the Regional Council Enrico rossi. In addition to the representatives of all the confederate associations, the numerous local and territorial managers and the members of numerous Tuscan ATCs participated in the meeting. The focus of the meeting focused on the preparation of a shared document that contained evaluations and proposals relating to the main criticalities and emergencies concerning hunting and wildlife management in our region; the document also lists and discusses the possible solutions that the Tuscany region will be able to adopt in the coming months.
At the end of the works, the assembly approved and licensed a substantial paper which was sent in these hours to the attention of the President Enrico Rossi and the Councilor Marco Remaschi. Unanimous sharing of the main contents on which the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters intends to maintain a high level of comparison, not only with the institutional component, but also with the various associations and categories involved at the table. In particular, we intend to remind the Region on the need to start again from the centrality of some qualifying points, to avoid the repetition of inorganic legislative choices and without strategic references.
For this reason, the urgency of the approval of the new Regional Wildlife Plan was reiterated; an essential tool for setting up a correct management of the territory and of the wildlife institutes. No to the policies of approval of “excerpt” resolutions, which are often contradictory and scarcely resolving on the numerous problems under discussion; management of ungulates, small game crisis, role and functions of public and private wildlife institutes, tasks and administrative management of ATCs. These are just some of the points that the document examines; a concrete and timely contribution that was made available to President Rossi with the hope of building a path of common confrontation and consultation.
