We read the statement from the president of theATCPG1 who, instead of calling the hunting associations and asking for a comparison to understand how to overcome the hostility to the budget, barricades himself behind victimization by blackmail. After all, the hunting associations know these attitudes, from a president accustomed to not confronting himself and never even answering the phone. A president who is there because, at the time, he was voted by the associations to lead a body that is not monochromatic, but which it should continue to enjoy the support of all representations. Which apparently President Cruciani no longer has, which should lead him to draw the necessary conclusions. Why we are at this point is easy to say: with resources totally provided by hunters - even those that come from Umbria Region, which are in any case reversed by the taxes of the hunters -, the ATC PG1 now has in its budget mainly expenses that do not help the hunt.
Without batting an eye, the burden of boar damage has been taken on and, by now, this item absorbs a large part of the budget with the threat of absorbing all the resources in the near future. What has it done over the years to correct this problem? Little of planning but, on the other hand, he has continually threatened the same hunters who pay him resources, so that they would accept the situation under penalty of not being thrown out. Just like now it threatens not to pay damages to farmers and not to approve the regulation implementing the selection. It is a fact and not an opinion that the selection rules could and can approve it, since it is not necessary the presence of two thirds of the members of the committee, unlike the budget.
But then we wonder how he will pay the damages to the farmers, as the wild boar hunters are expected to participate for a large part of the payment with extra money and have no intention of doing so. Perhaps the president has forgotten that he did not do much to ask the Region to derogate from the strict national anticovid rules, which prevented containment and hunting. So now he intends to tap into the pockets of the hunters again, despite not having been hunted, and he wrote it in black and white in the famous unapproved budget - and we would say not approved by those who pay. But these are not the only problems.
Both the president and the undersigned hunting associations ask the Region to cover these damagesbut the problem is that hunting urgently needs resources and strategies as we have been asking for for some time. The problem is that for more than 16 member-hunters, the PG1 ATC in just 10 years has dropped to about 10. The problem is that in the institutional tables the ATCPG1 presents itself with technical lines that contrast a lot with hunting, expressing - through the voice of a technician always paid with hunters' money - opinions strongly contrasting with the indications and ideas of the hunters. Could it be that the ATCPG1 committee, with the management of the hunt, now has exaggerated problems? Who fails to have a constructive dialogue with the main actors with whom he interacts. We would like to understand how it is possible that those involved in hunting do not have a at least cordial relationship with the hunters and not able to cooperate, as we would like to understand what the institutions are doing in all this (Federcaccia, Libera Caccia, Enalcaccia).
