The Umbria Region pre-adopts the new Hunting Calendar but the National Free Hunting Association criticizes the work of the Regional Councilor Cecchini.
We learn for the umpteenth time from an ANSA note the news of the pre-adoption by the Regional Council, on the proposal of the Councilor Cecchini, of the hunting calendar proposal, an operation that overrides the opinion of the Faunal-Hunting Council to which no official document to be discussed at the last call.
In acknowledging some significant corrections made to the first draft, we cannot refrain from judging negatively the work of the Councilor for hunting, who insists on passing off the text as "shared" by all the Hunting Associations, as well as not taking into consideration the other proposed changes suggested with official documents.
The Libera Caccia has filed for several days at the Regional Hunting Office a document shared by all the Hunting Components, with the exception of Federcaccia, with which the collection of the Wood pigeon species was requested starting from 1 September, while the Department continues to give credit, to our disappointment, to the solicitations of some Clubs that recommend their hunting starting from 16 September.
Ignored the documented proposal to start the collection of the Quail species starting from 9 September, including on that date the hunting of all sedentary game, given and considered the absolute lack of will and courage on the part of the Department to propose a single opening on September 1st. Once again the interpretation of the maximum time frame for some species has been overturned and the proposal to extend the closing of the hunting day by 15 minutes has been ignored for the umpteenth time.
Councilor Cecchini does not speak of "sharing" the entire text presented to the Board by the Hunting Associations, the Libera Caccia has worked to ask for support for its proposal from the Umbrian Hunting Components discussing its contents with those currently constitute the CAVU (Arcicaccia-ANUU-CPA-Enalcaccia-Italcaccia), obtaining maximum sharing on the document.
