By now the pre-opening is approaching and, given the many conflicts that arose last year during the checks carried out by the GGV regarding annotations on the culled animals, Confederation of Tuscan Hunters he wanted to remind all hunters of the important developments that, starting from this hunting season, will have to be applied in the control phase. A report from last year by volunteer guards belonging to the coordination GAV of Siena, complained to a member Federcaccia, the failure to record the heads on the hunting card, despite the fact that the killing had not yet been ascertained.
From there, during the appeal phase and thanks to the support of the technical-legislative assistance of the association, the region had reached, during the filing of the minutes, motivate the cause of the rejection of the same by citing article 8 paragraph 9 bis of law 3/94; this article in fact provides that the annotation of the head of game shot, whether migratory or sedentary, must in fact be made, only at the time of the assessment, thus rendering null and void the objection made to the hunter. Thanks also to the commitment of the CCT and with the support of some regional councilors, this led to the presentation of resolution 375 of 11 January 2018, then definitively approved by the regional council on April 14th, which provides that this provision must be implemented during the checks that are carried out on the territory.
Among the premises of the resolution, in addition to the amendment to article 8 itself with the insertion of paragraph 9 which was necessary since, in the general framework, it was difficult to interpret, point 5 of the Regional Law 37 was cited, which states that : "The annotation must take place immediately after the killing is ascertained, or when the hunter personally verifies the actual killing of the head". These provisions, of absolute value, therefore reaffirm the certainty of the law for all Tuscan hunters.
The strength of a single voice allows, without a shadow of a doubt, to assert itself even against those who, regardless, oppose the hunting activity in a deliberate and instrumental way, damaging the rights of all hunters. From this pre-opening we therefore expect an adjustment in terms of control by all the personnel assigned in charge, the CCT is also always available to assist those hunters who, otherwise, would see alleged improprieties being contested despite having made the annotation after the investigation has been carried out.
