The Lombardy Regional Council intends to modify the Regional Law on hunting n.26 / 93; the position of the ANUU Migrators.
The ANUU Migrators specifies its position regarding the amendments to the Lombard Regional Law on hunting n.26 / 93 that the Lombardy Regional Council intends to carry out following a forthcoming discussion and evaluation.
Considering that the Lombardy Regional Council is preparing to elaborate and discuss some changes to the regional law on hunting (lrn 26/93), ANUUMigratoristi deems it appropriate to recall and specify the following in this regard:
- in June of last year, after an intense and fruitful work together with all the hunting associations of Lombardy, a detailed and complete unitary proposal was reached for the modification of Regional Law 26/93;
- this proposal had already been formally made available at the time to the Regional Councilor and the Competent Offices of the Lombardy Region;
- this proposal has already been made available to all the political groups of the Regional Council which have requested it.
The ANUUMigratoristi believes that this unitary proposal is still perfectly adequate and current today and that it must therefore constitute the only and concrete reference available to the Lombardy Region to evaluate the thought and position of the entire Lombard hunting world, escaping the temptation to consider any "last minute proposals" which, not being the result of any sharing process, would only serve to frustrate all the efforts made to arrive at a single proposal of great technical value.
In particular, the ANUU Migratoristi declares its clear opposition to any hypothesis of reduction of the surface of the ATCs and therefore of a further increase in their number, a fact which, far from guaranteeing any real management opportunity, would only lead to further complications and an increase in costs. to the detriment of real operations on the territory.
The ANUU Migratorists invites the Lombardy Region to carefully evaluate the real intervention priorities already suggested several times, underlining the risks associated with any structural changes made just over two months after the opening of the new hunting season which instead requires a careful planning skills and the time required to implement it.
The ANUU Migrators remains, as always, at the complete disposal of the Lombardy Region to give its contribution to deepen and evaluate the regional initiatives on the subject at any further meeting or hearing that is specifically convened as already happened in recent days.
