La Italian Federation of Hunting ANASAT project which we have been talking about for some time is studying the main migratory strategies of some species of anatidae. The initiative is ofACMA (Association of Aquatic Migrant Hunters), sectoral association of the same FIDC.
Thanks to satellite telemetry technology that is able to automatically record data on the position and movement of the animals, it is possible to obtain elements of knowledge about their habits and their relative seasonal temporality. There is a local example worth investigating.
In fact, even the Marche Region with its hunters has been working for years to provide useful data for this type of research, so fundamental for future development of withdrawals. Federcaccia and the Associazione Cacciatori Migratori Acquatici wanted to take stock of the state of the works with a national conference that took place last February 23 in Monte San Vito, in the province of Ancona.
