Tore Piana, number one of the Agricultural Studies Center (CSA, body that analyzes and studies the problems of the agricultural sector and which includes numerous agronomists, agricultural experts, accountants and employees in the sector), has launched a very important alarm which concerns hunting in Sardinia. According to Piana, during the next hunting season (2019-2020) the collection of sedentary game may concern hares and partridges only in the case of proven membership of one of the island's self-managed reserves.
Consequently, with this choice there is the risk of excluding as many as 22 thousand hunters, a number that really makes an impression. If we take into account that the total is close to 36 thousand units, it is clear that we have gone well over half. The president of the CSA then added other details that help to better understand this delicate situation:
"This situation, whose responsibility lies with the Region, if not remedied, it risks leading to a social conflict between hunters who can afford to be part of the self-managed and hunters who, not being able to afford it, they are not part of it. Faced with this situation, the CSA asks that Sardinia intervene immediately. Otherwise have the courage to close the hunt for all , thus eliminating favoritism for the privileged few ".
