Arci Caccia di Enna organizes a preparation course for wild boar hunt leader in order to further increase the risk of accidents occurring during this hunting practice.
For some years now, wild boar hunting has been practiced in the Enna province, a type of hunting that needs special precautions, given the type of weapons used. Arci Caccia, on the initiative of the delegate Liborio Greco, is organizing a course for the preparation of wild boar battles (lr33 / 97). All this to give hunters the opportunity to form teams and therefore have the opportunity to register their team for the current hunting season at the relevant wildlife division.
Having obtained the authorization from the hunting faunal division, wild boar hunts can be carried out with all the relative safety requirements, such as the affixing of warning signs in the identified area of the hunt, the tables must be placed in adequate number in correspondence with the main paths, the paths of greatest passage for hikers and mushroom hunters, as well as other hunters who practice different hunting of animals that prefer the same natural habitat, in order to make known to third parties the state of danger of the particular form of hunting in place in the area.
In the past it has happened that hunters or simple passers-by have found themselves in the middle of a wild boar hunt, which is risky and in addition it is expected that all the animals killed are noted, also reporting if they are in poor health or highlighting other problems that they could have animals in that area by doing so it will also be possible to carry out a census and regulate this activity also based on the number of animals registered.
